Fields of interest
My main field of research is about the relations between the structure of a musical work (as it is notated) and how it can be interpreted. In my doctoral thesis, I have examined how the RUBATO software (musical analysis and performance) can be used to generate a performance of two Chopin Etudes which would be both based on mathematical structures and similar to the ones a concert pianist creates.
Other fields of research or interests include:

- 19th-century music, especially the works of Brahms and Chopin
- variations
- non-european or hybrid music (especially raï)
